Ruth Carley

Currently studying Lunar magnetism for her PhD at the University of Edinburgh. She studied Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, and has been an intern student at the Lunar and Planetary Institute, Houston, Texas.

Caer McCabe

A past student of the University Of Leicester, represented Space School UK at the Australian Space School and in Star City, Russia. She then went to Los Angeles to work on her PhD in Astrophysics and now works in the USA.

Mark Bentley

Used his Space School industry skills when he was part of the SSP'01 Project Team when he attended the International Space University.Their task was to ientify monitoring of greenhouse gases. A micro-satellite constellation consisting of three identical spacecraft was proposed as a solution to this problem. Mark now works in the UK Space Sector.

Kotska Wallace

David Thomas

On his first visit to us in 2000 he was one of our youngest students. He went onto study at Cambridge and has written an ICT interactive workshop for SSUK.

Michelle Skidmore

Studied for degrees in Physics with Space Science and Technology at Leicester University. Chair of the Leicester branch of UKSEDS.

Paul Meacham

A former Physics student at the University of Leicester and attended Space School in 2002. Upon graduating in 2006, he joined EADS Astrium as a graduate spacecraft engineer and is currently working on the LISA Pathfinder mission.

Charlotte Daymond

Studied at the University of Leicester for a degree in Physics with Space Science and Technology. Was a mentor at Space School UK, adn went on to become a teacher

Loretta Hidalgo

Now working for NASA as an Astrobiologist intesested in life in extreme enviroments, enviromental support-systems and the search for life in the universe. She is hoping to work on a human Mars Mission.

Sam McGauley

Was a member of the British team competing in the 2001 Space Olympiad in Korolev, Russia. He came to Space School UK in August of that year to help prepare himself and his team members by networking with like minded people in all areas of the industry.
